Claire Alderton (2010 Core Group) is an HCPC and HPCSA registered Clinical Psychologist. She has worked in private practice since 1997, and as a senior practitioner in the NHS in London since 2007. She works in North East London providing specialised psychological services (including assessment and treatment) to adults and adolescents.
Ainslie Baker is a chartered counselling psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society, the Health Professions Council, and the UK Council for Psychotherapy.
Working in private practice in Central London since 2004, Ainslie is experienced in providing therapy for people who suffer from a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties.
Julie (2014 CORE Group) worked for many years as a counsellor, working at the Bristol University Counselling Service and the short term service at The Bridge Foundation, as well as in private practice.
She went on to train as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with the Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy, qualifying in 2007. She is registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), and the UKCP (UK Council for Pscyhotherapy), as well as being a member of FIP.

Hend (2014 CORE Group 5) DSc (Paris), PGDip MSt Psychodynamic Practice (Oxf) is a UKCP registered Psychotherapeutic counsellor through the Universities Psychotherapy & Counselling Association (UPCA). She is also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Hend is presently working as an associate psychotherapist for the Oxford University Counselling Service and for the NHS and in private practice.
Carisso Haine (2006 core group) is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, registered with UKCP. She has been Chair of the Clinic and a Training Therapist at the London Centre for Psychotherapy and has been in private practice for 30 years. Carisso is a member of IEDTA (International Experiential Dynamic Therapy Association).
John Janickyj (2006 core group) has many years experience of working in the NHS, predominantly in a Psychological Therapies Department. He registered as a psychotherapist with the PP section of the UKCP in 1997.
Mimi Kester (2010 CORE Group) BA Hons, PGCE, Postgrad.Dip.Couns is a Senior Accredited Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and has worked in the NHS in Primary and Secondary Care, for the Police and as a college Counsellor at Oxford University.
Alexandra Knowles (Pokorny) BSc (Hons) (2006 core group) is a UKCP registered Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist through the Universities Psychotherapy & Counselling Association (UPCA) and an Honorary Member of FiP which she founded. She has been involved in the training & supervision of therapists and currently devotes her time to her ISTDP practice working with individuals & couples.
Dr Sharon Lewis (2006 core group) is a chartered clinical psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council. She currently works in Buckinghamshire/Greater London providing specialised psychological services (including assessment and treatment) to adults and adolescents.
She is also an IEDTA accredited trainer and supervisor in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy.
She has previously worked as clinical supervisor of the Trauma Clinic of the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation in South Africa, as well as within the NHS, has published in the areas of childhood trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, and conducted research into treatment-resistant depression.
Dr James Louis is a Consultant Psychiatrist in North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a qualified practitioner of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. He completed his core training in ISTDP with Dr Josette ten Have-de Labije and Dr Rob Neborsky.
He specialises in working with adults with a range of complex difficulties and is also endorsed by the General Medical Council in the treatment and management of mental health problems associated with physical health issues. In addition, he also provides training, consultation, and supervision to mental health professionals including trainee psychiatrists based both within and outside of the UK.
In addition to being a member of ISTDP UK, Dr James Louis is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and also of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Joseph Mishan BSc (Hons) RMN (2006 core group) is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council since 1995. He is a senior practitioner in a NHS psychotherapy service in north London where he has worked for over 25 years. He has experience of work with individuals, couples and as a supervisor. He has a small private practice in Hertfordshire.
Dr Rohan Naidoo was in Dr Patricia Coughlin’s 2012 core group. He is a registered clinical psychologist, with nine years experience working in the NHS. He has worked with children, older adults and families, but his focus is on adult mental health and positive wellbeing. Coming from a background in philosophy, Rohan regularly teaches on the Clinical Psychology course at the University of Nottingham. Areas of special interest are the relationship between personal identity and therapeutic change, as well as the connection between mind and body.
Dr. Leo Russell is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the health professions council. He works for the NHS in community adult mental health and also has a private practice in Exeter. He is experienced in providing therapy for people who suffer from a wide range of emotional difficulties. He has a special interest in medically unexplained symptoms and has published work on Eating Disorders and Bipolar Disorder.
Dr Anthony Theuninck (2012 CORE Group) is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist in private practice and the NHS providing therapy to adults and couples. He has experience in helping people gain relief from distress and symptoms in the short-term as well as working towards long-term change. He has published research in the areas of trauma, discrimination, sexuality and chronic health problems.

Dr Garret O’Moore (2015 CORE Group 6) is a Counselling Psychologist Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC).
